Summer night golf and BBQ

The Southern California Disc Golf Meetup group is hosting an round of night golf and a BBQ on May 28, 2011. The event starts at 5:00.

For those of you who have patiently waited for it, here it finally is! We'll meet and start barbecuing at 5pm, and we'll tee off as soon as the sun goes down. I'll bring the charcoal and the BBQ tools, you bring your food. If you bring a few extra burgers or dogs, I'm sure there'll be a few hungry disc-golfers that will appreciate it. If you're not hungry, or don't like to BBQ, feel free to come and just hang out!

The sun is expected to set at about 8pm this night, so at about 7-7:30pm, we start cleaning up, and just before we tee of we'll play a little Ring of Fire and some of you a prize disc of two to use!

Don't forget your lights, and water-resistant shoes!! The sprinklers had the tendency to come on halfway through the round last year, so wear good shoes, just in case. And if you need lights, the Pro Shop at La Mirada does carry them, or if you show up a little early, you can head over to Discovering the World (an amazing disc golf shop about 15 minutes from the course).
